Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Mathu Apparel (a.k.a. the home of dangerously sweet designs)! By purchasing from this site, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully—especially if you’re allergic to boring fine print.


1. General Information

This website is operated by Sarah Mathieu; Mathu Apparel. Throughout the site, the terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Mathu Apparel. By visiting and purchasing from our site, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and anyone on our website.


2. Products & Print Provider

All of our products are printed and shipped through Gelato, a trusted print-on-demand fulfillment service. What that means:

  • When you place an order, Gelato handles the production and shipping from one of their global print partners closest to you.
  • Production times are usually between 4 -6 business days, but may vary depending on the item and location.
  • We do not personally handle the printing, packing, or shipping—so timelines and certain policies follow Gelato’s Terms of Service.


3. Shipping & Delivery

Since we use Gelato's global print network:

  • Orders are printed and shipped from facilities near your delivery address when possible.
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are based on your location and will be calculated at checkout.
  • We cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.
  • We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by customs, incorrect addresses, local postal issues, or other external circumstances.

Once your order has shipped, tracking will be provided (if available in your region).


4. Returns & Exchanges

Because all items are made-to-order through Gelato:

  • All sales are final unless your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • If there’s a problem with your order, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hellosarahmathu@gmail.com, including your order number and photos of the issue.
  • Refund for items cost can be approved or item replaced but all shipping cost are final and shipping expenses are not cover to return said items. For more info check out our shipping and returns.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for size issues, so please review our size charts carefully before purchasing. 

5. Intellectual Property

All designs, characters, logos, and content on this site are the creative property of Mathu Apparel & Sarah Mathieu and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or resold without permission. For real—please don’t steal our art. We’ve got cursed popsicles, and we’re not afraid to use them.


6. Privacy

Your privacy matters. We only use your information to process orders and communicate with you about your purchase. For fulfillment purposes, your information is shared securely with Gelato and their print partners. We never sell or share your data for marketing purposes without your consent.


7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
